xiǎo wáng ：Xiè zǒng，wǒ xiǎng huí jiā xiū xi yí gè xīng qī 。

小王：谢总，我想回家休息一个星期。

xiè zǒng ：Wèi shén me？Nǐ shuō shuō kàn。

谢总：为什么？你说说看。

xiǎo wáng：Zuì jìn wǒ bù shū fu jīng cháng tóu téng，yī sheng jiào wǒ zuì hǎo xiū xi jǐ tiān。Dàn shì wǒ hái bù zhī dào shì shén me bìng。

In China, when your boss want you to leave, you can say 我被炒鱿鱼了。(wǒ bèi chǎo yóu yú le.) meaning I’m fired.
