How to remember the character “慢” (màn)?  慢 means SLOW. The left part (忄) represents “heart”. So SLOW is a feeling of heart rate and it has a heart radical and the right component suggests the pronunciation. “太”（tài）means “too”, so “太慢” is “too slow”.
